GREAT NECK, NY, January 2019— Dr. Sepideh Homayoonfar Psy.D., a pediatric neuropsychologist, celebrates the Grand Opening of her new private practice located at 45 North Station Plaza Suite 206 in Great Neck NY.
Dr.Homayoonfar specializes in neuropsychological, developmental, and educational evaluations, as well as diagnostic evaluations in children from 24 months across the lifespan. She is currently accepting new patients who may be struggling in areas related to Developmental Disorders, ADHD, and Learning Disorders.
Dr.Homayoonfar is a NY state Licensed psychologist who graduated from Ferkauf’s dual program in Clinical-School Psychology. She has also completed an intensive post-doctoral fellowship focused in pediatric neuropsychology at Healthcare Associates in Medicine. Additionally, she received extensive pre-doctoral training at NYU Child Study Center's Institute for Learning and Academic Achievement and the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
In addition to her private practice, Dr.Homayoonfar is also the supervising psychologist at School Based Mental Health Collaboration (SBMHC) – Teacher’s College, Columbia University where she implements school-wide social-emotional learning framework in NYC public schools in collaboration with school leaders, teachers, and personnel.
Dr. Homayoonfar is looking forward to working with the Great Neck and surrounding communities, and plans to hold various educational seminars that will be announced on her website and social media.
She is fluent in Farsi and is certified in completing Farsi-language evaluations.
